Middle Fork Working Group
The Middle Fork IMW project was first promoted through the Upper Middle Fork John Day Working Group, an informal organization formed in 2004. The project is now administered by many working group participants representing the Malheur National Forest, Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Reservation, The Nature Conservancy, Bureau of Reclamation, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, The Freshwater Trust, Grant Soil & Water Conservation District and North Fork John Day Watershed Council.
Private landowners and other organizations also play an important role.
We encourage other interested parties to also participate and invite you to contact us for more information on the Middle Fork IMW project and how you can become involved.
Those who are scientifically orientated may wish to read more in-depth information can use the drop-down menu on the left beneath the Middle Fork Working Group link
